GOLDEN WOOL.
TIAIARU SALES.
RECENT HIGH PRICES AIATTAINED.
[PEESS ASSOCIATION' TELEGEAM] TIAIARU, Dec. 20. At the second Timani sale to-day nearly 19,000 hales 4 were offered, ami the majority were sold. The attendance of buyers was a record. Competition was keen for most kinds. Top half-breds and low crossbreds were a shade easier, but generally prices were on a par with recent sales at Dunedin and Christchurch.
The wool was heavier in grease than at the previous sale. American buyers were keen bidders for suitable lots.
