FURTHER ATTACKS ON PILLAR BOXES. SUFFRAGIST SETS FIRE TO TRAIN.
‘‘UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT] LONDON, Dec. IS. Extensive attacks have been made on the pillar boxes at Deptford, Lewisham, Putney, Forest Gate and in the city. Three arrests were made at Franklin. A male suffragist was charged with setting fire to the Great Central train at Harrow. Only slight damage was sustained. THE SUFFRAGE BILL. (Received Dec. 19, 8.30 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 19. Air. Asquith announced that the Franchise Bill will go into Committee on January 20.
