GISBORNE CLUB. The usual weekly committee meeting of the Gisborne Rowing Club was held in the Boathouse last evening. Present: Messrs Gully (in the chair), Puflett, Hamilton, O’Brien, Quigley, Pycroft and Hutton. t It was decided that entries should close at the shed on Sunday, 22nd inst., -for the President’s Fours, these races to be open to all members, and to be rowed for about the second week in January on the Taruheru course from the Brewery in the boats “Waimata” and “Taruheru.” The following are the draws for the Cox’s Cup "A” grade double sculls and the “B” grade fours for B. S. Cox’s photos:— Cox’s Cup.—Monday, 16tli: (1) Perry rows Hansen, (2) Quigley rows Hamilton, (3) Gully rows Langridge. Tuesday, 17th.: (4) Dobson rows Gerrard, (5) Smith rows Moore, (6) Somervell rows Winter, McLean a bye. Wednesday, 18th: (7) Winner (1) rows McLean, (8) winner (4) rows winner (6), (9) winner (2) rows winner (5), winner (3) a bye. Thursday, 19th: Winner (3) rows winner (7). winner (8) rows winner (9). Friday, 20th: Final. B. S. Cox’s Photos.—Tuesday, 17th inst: (1) O’Brien rows Port, (2) Pycroft rows McColl. Wednesday, 18th: Jeffries rows winner (1), Puflett rows winner (2). Thursday, 19th: Final. Messrs Pycroft and Quigley were appointed a visiting committee for the ensuing week.
