LONDON DOCKERS LOOKING FOR WORK.
GENERAL RESUMPTION ANNOUNCED.

LONDON, July 30.
The strike committee sat for three hours. It re-affirmed Saturday’s decision, and ordered the resumption of work under the old conditions. Where these are unobtainable the men are to remain out, the committee in such cases to deal with individual firms singly. The committee foresee the possibility of a prolonged guerilla struggle. Mr Ram say MacDonald and other Labor Members of the House of Commons attended the committee meeting after the decision, and concurred in the course taken.
Two thousand bargemen on the lower Thames and Medway have resumed.
Sailors and firemen at Towel' Hill, Poplar, and Canning Town overwhelmingly decided to resume. The* Birkenhead strike has thrown thousands of ironworkers idle in the Manchester Ship Canal. There is a rush of strikers at the docks to secure employment. More applied than could be engaged, and many bitterly complained against the Union. Some of the dockers resented being required to give an undertaking not to demand the production of union tickets from other workmen. There have been disorders at the Royal Albert and Victoria Docks, where strikers after being re-engaged chased free laborers, many of whom received black eyes.
STIRRING UP STRIFE.
BEN TILLETT AGAIN
(Received July 31, 9.25 p.m.) LONDON. July 31. The strike leaders anticipate that the difficulty in finding work will largely disannear in a, few days as th<T free laborers are gradually discharged. . Ben Tillott, addressing the Strike Committee, said that many had resumed 011 bad rates and conditions. Some employers were endeavoring to impose a 10 per centum inciease in hours and a- 25 per centum reduction in wages.

(Received July 31, 11 p.m.) LONDON, July 31. The quays and wharves are in a deplorable condition; and tons of merchandise have been spoilt, largely by tlie weather. Many bales of wool have been damaged." The Strike Committee will award medals to those faithful in the struggle.
