For the football on the Brisbane Cricket Ground the weather was fin® but- dull, and the attendance was fair. The teams were:— New Zealand.—Full-back, Hargreaves; three-quarters, Gilmour, Weston, Curran; half-backs. Carlaw, Bradley, and Barber; forwards, Rukutai, Dunning, King, H. Hayward, M- Hayward, Francis. Queensland.-—Full-back, Duffin ; three-quarters, Woodhead, Lynch, Quinn and Hooker ■ five-eighths, \V. Farnsworth; half-back, Heidke; forwards, Fahey, Collins, McKay, Heellev, Meekin, Schotz. Queensland won the toss, and trancis kicked off. . . „ Queensland held their own m the scrums T The game was in progress hall-an-hour, when Bradley passed to Weston, who transferred to Gilmour.
