ANNUAL BONUS DISTRIBUTION. The annual bonus distribution, which is such an important- feature of the A. Ml P. Society, is to-day brought prominently before the members by the issue of the bonus certificates for the year ending December 31, 1911. The cash surplus available for distribution was £879,141, and this will provide, reversionary bonuses of about £1,550,000,"’ which will no doubt bo highly gratifying to. the membersThe total number of polides. at December 31st last in the ordinary department was 42,011, assuring £14,-. 251,641 including bonus - additions, while : "in the Industrial Department there, were.. 14,952 policies in force, assuring £531,726. The new business written for 1911 was far in excess of any previous year and compriesd 3324 policies, assuring £1,015,695 in the Ordinary Department, and 5904 policies, assuring £229,661 in the Industrial Department, which, taken together, is equal to an assurance of about. £1 5s per bead of the whole population of the Dominion.
