MOTU. (From Our Own Correspondent.) MOTU, June 23. A Try boisterous weather has been experienced' here the last few days. On Sunday night snow began to fall, and before very long the ground was covered, +he most for seven years, it remaining on the flats all Monday, 1 the hills being still covered. The mails which should have arrived on. Monday, did not reach here until Tuesday evening, owing to the flooded state of the rivers. The roads are’ beginning to get very boggy, especially the Matawai end of fclie main road, which is getting in ajTvery .bad state, owing to the j heavy traffic in connection with the j Public AA’orks Department. j Keen interest is now being taken in Parliamentary matters, and opinions arc very varied as to the ultimate result*of the Session.
