The New Zealand Shipping Co’.s steamer Waimate arrived from Napier early yesterday morning, and after taking aboard 550 bales of wool, left for Tokomaru Bay for further loading, arriving there at 5 p.m. The Shaw Savill steamer Taimii arrived from the Bluff yesterday to load wool and mutton for Home. The Tvser Co’s steamer Star of India is due to-morrow to take up the running of the Star of Canada. The Westport Coal Company’s Begulus is due from Westport on Tuesday. The Union Co’s Tarawera is due tomorrow on her usual run from South. The small steamer Burn is loading some railway material for Gisborne at Nelson. The coastal steamer Weka brought diving material to be used on the Star of Canada from Napier yesterday, and returned .in the evening. Messrs Richardson and Co’s Hippie is due from the south to-day on her usual run.
