A Sydney cable announces the death of Mr W. -J. Boiinor, the one-time famous cricketer. The King -has knighted the Lord Mayor of Cardiff. J. McGowan Sir -TLogan Campbell. Dr. J. Wallis Mr. Richard Monk. Mr. W. L Rees (Gisborne), and Mr. K- Hirst (Southland) were adopted, and Parliament adjourned out of respect to the memory of the deceased gentlemen.
