P.B. REFEREES’ ASSOCIATION. At a meeting of the Poverty Bay Referee’s Association last night the following were appointed to control the games next Saturday : _ Seniors: United v. Y.M.P. No. 1 ground, Mr Deans; Ivaiti-City v. Y.M.C.A., No. 2 ground, Mr Olsen. Juniors: Garrison v. Da nn e virke, 1.45 p.m., Mr A. Wallace. Thirds: High School v. Garrison, No. 2 Mr W. Hay; Y.M.C.A.* v. Y.M.P. (Park) 2.30, Mr C. Hepburn. Schools: Mangapapa v. Kaiti, Mr McLeod; Makaraka v. Convent, Mr FHarding; Waerenga-a-hika v. Gisborne, Mr A. Wallace. TE ARAI v. GISBORNE. A good deal of interest centres in the return match between the Te Arai and Gisborne football teams, which is to take place at the Victoria Domain tomorrow afternoon. The Gisborne team was most hospitably entertained on the occasion or their recent visit to the country, and are determined to return the many kindnesses shown them by their friendly rivals. In addition to entertaining the visitors at dinner and a social in the evening, afternoon tea will be provided at the ground for the ladies present and the members of both teams.
