PERSONAL NOTES.
During' the banquet in connection, with the annual installation of officers of Abercorn Masonic Lodge last night, Bro. C. Hellier Evans was warmly congratulated upon having attained the office of major in the defence forces. Mr; W. W. Smith, of New Plymouth, has presented Canterbury Museum with a kiwi’s egg. It was kid by a kiwi wliich had recently been caught near New Plymouth.
