EMIR SINKS INSTANTLY.
MOROCCAN LABORERS DROWNED. [UNITED PEESS ASSOCIATION—COPTEIGHT. MARSEILLES, August 10. The French steamer Emir, Avliich, during a fog, collided with the British steamer SSiverton, near Tarifa, sank immediately. There Avere no English or American passengers aboard. Most of those drowned were Moroccan laborers. The Si Horton lowered three boats but \vas only able to save twelve of the Emir’s crew and fifteen passengers, who were on deck.
