A high tribute was paid to the work of Mr J. Warren, Clerk of the Cook County Council, at yesterday’s ™ ee t~ ing by the Chairman (the Hon. Capt. ’Tucker), but he expressed regret that Mr Warren’s health had not been very good of late. Mr Warren would not he said, applv for leave, but lie thought that he should be given three weeks holiday to recuperate. The Council unanimously agreed to the suggestion, and members expressed the hope that Mr Warren would soon be completely restored to health.
