(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION-COPYRIGHT.} (Received March 31, 11.50 p.ni) NEW YORK, March 31. Many valuable records have been discovered in the ruins of the Legislative Library at Albany unscathed. Documents covering the history of the war of 1812 are intact.
A DESTRUCTIVE TORNADO. A tornado destroyed the settlement of Gainsville. Alabama. No live s . were lost but‘crops were ruined, the forest levelled for miles, and a hundred farmhouses wrecked.
