LFER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, March 31. The Government Meteorologist issued the following weather summary and forecast this afternoon: —Warm and humid conditions have prevailed in the north, hut the weather has been cooler and misty. Rain has fallen in the south, especially on the east coast. There has been a slight decrease in barometric pressure, and moderate easterly winds have prevailed. Present indications are for hazy weather generally, misty and showery, especially in the extreme north and south. " Moderate to strong easterly ml south-easterly winds will probably prevail. The barometer will probably fall in the northern districts and for a short time elsewhere. Conditions are somewhat critical at present, 'for a low pressure is developing in front of an advancing anticyclone.
