Press Association. AUCKLAND, Feb. 29. In tlie course of an address on tho native ministry, at the meeting of tho Te Ante Association, Air. Thornton made an impassioned appeal to all Maoris to make an effort to support their own ministers. A possible reason for the present lack of men, be said, was that the ministry was underpaid.
