WELLINGTON, Sept. 30. The annual meeting ol : the New Zealand Tennis Association was held to-night. The following officers were elected Patron, His Excellency the Governor; president, Dr Leathern, Taranaki; vice-presidents, W. it. Holmes (Auckland), \V. Loss (Canterbury), T. Logan (Hawke s Bay), O. J. W\ Griffiths (Marlborough), G. A. MacQuaire (Nelson) Dr. Horne (Taranaki). Rev. Dean McKenna (WoUmgton), Dr. Mackay (West Coast); delegate to Lawn Tennis Association, H. Wilson Fox; vice-president to Australian Lawn Tennis Association, .Dr. Leatham; delegates to Australasian Association, V. H- Baxter and Redmoml Barry ; management committee, E. Denniston, G. A. Hurley, F. Laishlev J A. B. Howe, J. Peacock, _A. Young, A. Hume; New Zealand Appeal Committee, J. L. Freeman. H M Core, E. M. Redward, A. Young, J.'S. Wilson; auditor, L. J- McKay, secretary and treasurer, G. N- Goldie. It was resolved to amend the rules to provide that no affiliated association shall hold a championship, scratch, or handicap event unless the New Zealand Association lias approved the programme relating thereto. Players taking part in any such events not authorised by the New Zea- ., l an d Association will do so at their own risk No affiliated association is to play a championship, scratch, or handicap event in its programme rmless such events are open to all affiliated associations and clubs or English Lawn Tennis Associations or other recognised associations.
