Ono of tho most valuable consignments of racing stock whicb'liavo arrived in New Zealand from England during late year§ arrived at "Wellington yesterday by the Ruapehu. Tho lot, comprising two colts and four fillies, are consigned from Mr. Andrew Ferguson, Heathhouse, Newmarket, to Mr. G. G. Stead, of Christchurch. The bay colt Charlemagne II is threo years old and is by the famed St. Simon (Galopin—St. Angela), whoso stud fee is 500 guineas, ex Perfect. Tho other colt is a bay yearling by Torporley ox Maybud Dream. Tho fillies are a bay two years- old by Persimmon ex La Carolina, a Lady Wayward brown two-year-old-by Ladas ex Yano, a bay filly two years old by Collar ex Miss Chaffinch, and a bay yearling filly by Ormo ox Hey Prosto.
