Wellington, last night, Cap'ain Thoms rn, of the steamer Kahu, at Castlepoint, telcgraped to Inspeotor Ellieon yesterdiy afternoon as follows : " I have to report that during the dinner hour, between Matakuna and Oaetlepoint, about 12 30 o’clock, a seaman named Andrew Tai, is believed to have jumped overboard frooj the e.e, Kahu,"
