Tho following is the text of Mr Deekin’ cable in reference to tho Natal question <i Since the intervention of Ministers o tho United Kingdom with the administra tion of b self-governing colony, Natal would tend to establish, even with regan to the prerogative of pardon, a dangoroui precedent affecting all States within tb Empire, we respectfully appeal for reoon sideration of the resolution which they ar reported to have arrived at on the matter. Mr Deakin says that the reason h withhold the telegram in the first instane from tho public was that he was anxiot that the action should not be used fc party purposes in England.
