Received 5.10 p.m., May 13. Capetown, May 12. A deputation representing ten thousand artisans protests to Lord Sfiborne against repatriation facilities being allowed to Chinese likely to be thrown idle. Seven tboueaud whites claimed that similafacilities should be extended to the unemployed whites. Lord Salborne said Government did nos wish to dislooate industry, but discontented Coolies mut be repatriated.
