SALE AT MATAWHERO. yARDS. The Matawhero stock salo3 were held yesteyday afternoon, there being a smaller attendance than usual. Owing to the recent wet weather a large number of sheep were unable to pome forward. The yarding oomprised about 12,CQ9. Buytrs for old owes wore very scarce, and there was little competition for store ewes. Wethers brought from 13s for forward sorts up to 16s 6d for prims fats. The following prioea were realised : Messrs Common, Shelton and Co. and Dalgoty and Co.: 123 mixed ewes from Tokomaru 3) 9d, 176 small lambs from Tokomaru 3s 9d, 176 woolly lambs in killable condition 9s lOd.
