Duncan put up the best performance in the first round of the Hawke’s JBay championship in the golf tournament, going round in 84.
At the 'Land Board meeting Tohara Kaibotu, having effected improvements amounting to £SO 12s Gd on section 1, block XI., Opotiki district, previous io purchase by the Crown, and the present lessee having' deposited the same, the Board wero asked to approve of payment to Tohara Kaihotu, Payment was approved. C. Boland wroto with reference to rent duo on block VI., Buckley, town municipal reserve. The lease surrendered to be written off. W. Smith’s, junr., application for small grazing run 76a, Nuhaka North, was granted.- Transfers were approved as follows -Small grazing run 14, Morangiangi, F. Hope to J. McDonald and S. E. Mitchell; section 107, block VI., Patutahi, B. Fitzpatrick to J. Dover. An application to sub lease was approved as follows : Half-acre of section 13, block 11., Motu, C, Hansen to R. F. -Jackson.
