Napier, last night. Tho Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company, Limited, London, cable to-day “ Frozen moat market. To day’s quotations are: Canterbury mutton, s[d per lb ; Napier, Wellington, and North Island mutton, 4jd per lb. Lamb, first quality, 64d por lb ; second quality, 6d per lb.
Mossra Dalgoty and Co. havo received tho following cablegram from London - “ Tho wool soles opened with a fair selection. There was a largo attendance of buyers, and competition was animated. Merino v/ools are par. to 5 per cent, highor than tho closing rates of last series. Fine crossbreds are 5 per cent, higher, medium and coarse crossbreds 10 per cent, highor. ”
