SPECIAL ORDERS MADE BY THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF GISBORNE. BOROUGH OF GISBORNE. OPECIAL ORDER of the Gisborne Borough Council passed at a Special Meetin" of°the Council, held at Gisborne on the 9th DECEMBER, 1909, and confirmed at a meeting of the Council, held on the 6th JANUARY, 190 J. '• Special Order authorising Raising of a Loan of £4OOO for Establishment of Abattoirs. "In pursuance and exorcise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by ■ The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900.' • The Slaughtering and Inspection Act. 1900,’ and amendments thereto, the Gisborne Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :

*• That for the purpose of the establishment of Public Abattoirs the Gisborne Borough Council hereby decides to raise a Special Loan of J£4ooo from the Government under the provisions of *The Local Bodies Loans Act 1901,’ and Amendments thereof, for a term of Forty* one Years, at the rate of 3.1-% per annum. It is proposed to pay co y t of raising the Loan and first year’s Interest out of Loan. SPECIAL ORDER MAKING BATE ABATTOIR LOAN. In pursuance and exercise ot the power vested in it in that behalf by The Municipal Corporations Act 1900,” and amendments thereof. the Gisborne Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :

That for the purpose of providing the Interest and Sinking Fund and other charges upon a Loan of H4OOO authorised to be raised bv the Gisborne Borough Council under the provisions of the Local Bodies Loans Act 1001.” and amendments thereof, for the establishment of Public Abattoirs, the Gisborne Borough Council hereby makes and levies a Special Bate of One Pennv in the Pound stg. upon the Annual Rateable Valuation of all rateable property within the Borough of Gisborne as defined in the Now Zealand Gazette of 14th May. 1877, Folio 026, and that such Special Bate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such Loan being a period of Forty-one Years or until the Loan is fully patd ofi. The rate of Interest on such Loan being o| % per annum : And it is further reI solved “That the Interest upon tho Loan shall be paid out of the charges, rents, and tolls accruing from such Public Abattoirs, and in that case the Special Rato will not be collected except to make good any deficiency that may occur through the Revenue from such Abattoirs being insufficient to meet the Interest and lawful charges upon the Loan. Passed at a Special Meeting of the said Borough Council of Gisborne on 9tu DECEMBER, 1902, and confirmed at a meeting held on 6tu JANUARY, 1903.
