BOWLING
(Per Press Association). Christchurch, last night. The bowling tournament continued today. The weather was fine and the grounds in good order. The greater portion of the day was occupied with single handed matches, which have now reached the final stages. The Wellington player Bell won six games, and is dow in the final. His opponent will not be known till to-morrow, as there are two games still to be played between Allnut (Roslyn) and Bishop (Christchurch) or Gow (Timaru). The consolation rink match has reached the semi final stage, the clubs left in being Kaituna (Sneddon), Ashburton (Harrison), Oamaru (Martin), Christchurch (Barnett). The doubles and rinks will be brought to a final stage to morrow morning.
