HARDENING PRICES.
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Received 10.7 p.m., Jan. 19. Sydney, Jan. 19. At the Homebush sales there were only fair supplies. New Zealand, good, were at improved values. Crossbred withers, best 163 to 16s 6d, good 15s to 15s 6d, medium 11s; ewes, best los, good to 14s, medium 10s 6d. Cattle were dearer. Primes were scarce. Bullocks, best £lB to £ls, extra £l4 2s 6d, good £l2, medium £8 10s ; cows, best £lO, extra £ll, good £8 os, medium £7. Best beef brought 84s to 37s 6d per 1001 b.
