The Premier has received the followhjg communication from the “'cretary of the Clearhills Farmers’ and Settlers’ Association,‘Oakland, Corowa, New South Wales, dated January 3 : structed on behalf of the above Association nnd also of the farmers and settlers of the Riverina to convey to you their hearty thanks for your kind and generouo action in offering to supply seed and fodder to this State for the benefit of the farmers and settlers who have suffered so severely through the long drought, and to assure you that they fully appreciate the kindly motives that prompted you to make the offer aud to express regret that the Premier of this State has not accepted the offer in the spirit in which it was made.— '(Signed) A.
