IIOBIN HOOD. ROBIN HOOD is a beautiful dark chestnut, stands 17 hands high, with immense muscle and strength, and grand temper, and is a sure loal-get-ter. He has stood in the Wairarapa for four seasons, where his stock is in great demand. He has never been beaten in the Show ring. Took first prize in the Wairarupa and East Coast A. and P. Society’s Shows, 1896, as the best coaching stallion on the ground ; also, iirsfc in 1807, and Gold Medal at same Show ; also, first at Wellington A. and P. Show, 1807. First prize at Masterton, 1808 ; also, first prize at same grounds, February 22nd, 1800. Robin Hood, by St. Albans.—St. Albans sire of Tasman ; dam trotting mare Nellie, by lUonga Park. Monga Park sire of Maid of Munster, Rockwood, and Moonlight. Maid of Munster ran second in Christchurch over hurdles, also won live trotting races, and won the three-mile trot in 8 minutes. 10 STAND AT ORMOND THIS SEASON, And to travel district, The Oldenburg Carriage Stallion, DELPHINDelphin, imported direct from tho celebrated Oldenburg Stud, Suwundan, near Rodenkichea, Grand Dukedom of Oldenburg, Germany. Horses from this stud have lately taken over 400 prizes and medals in Europe and America. Delphin is the true type of a coaching stallion, and is, in fact, the best specimen to be seen in the Hemisphere. He was bred by Edward Lubben, and foaled 2-nd April, 1887; is a rich blood bay with two white ankles, and stands 1G hands 3 inches high. Delphin’s breeding is of the most successful strains, being got by Maguet by Agamemnon, by Yellaehieh, dam by Zeinebog, by General Garl, Wedel by Boradil. The breeding of horses in Germany is paid meat attention io by the Government, and all the stallions at the service of the public have to be passed by the Government Veterinary Surgeon as sound, and of good conformation and constitution. Delphin is a handsome blood bay horse, of grand proportions, also splendid conformation. He is of a thoroughly sound constitution, most docile temper, superior action, and is a sure foalgetter. The stock of Delphin should command extreme prices when mated with good mares, such as superior carriage horses, upstanding hacks, cross-country horses, Indian remounts, and cavalry horses. Uelpnin was the winner of the first prize at the bebruary Show and also first prize and certificate at the September Show at Wanganui in is'jl; first in 1- 04 as the best horse on the n-ound. Delphin was also first and champion it Tokomariro in I*9G, and first at Clutha name year. Terms: £-1 3s; guarantee as ler arrangement. Two or more marcs as per lgrcement.
