IT is hereby notified that it is the intention of the above-named Board, at a meeting to be held on FRIDAY, August 22nd, 1902, to strike a General Rate of Three Farthings in the £, in terms of Seotion 37 of “ The Rating Act, 1894,” and Seotion 114 of “The Road Boards Act, 1882”; the said rate to be on the capital, value of all ratable property within the said Road Board District, for the period of one year, from the Ist April, 1902, to the 31st March, 1903, and to be due and payable in one sum on sth September, 1902, at the Office of the Board, Lowe street, Gisborne.
