INCREASE FOR MONTH IN GISBORNE BIRTHS
The number of birth registrations in Gisborne last month showed an increase of 10 on the aggregate for November of last year. There was a decrease in the number of deaths and marriages declined by 10.
The totals, with those for the corresponding month of last year in parenthesis, are: Births. 70 (60), deaths, 15 (21); marriages 20, including four by registrar <3O, including three by registrar).
Birth registrations up to the end of November total 522 compared with 603 for the 11 months of last year. Deaths total 204 against 228 and marriages 198, including 35 by the registrar, compared with 234, including 38 by the registrar, last year The figures were released teday by the registrar, Mr. A. S. Louisson.
