GISBORNE-AUCKLAND HOCKEY FINAL
Gisborne High School (I) and Auckland Grammar are in the final of the national secondary schools’ _ hockey tournament to be played this afternoon at the Childers Road Reserve. In a semi-final this morning Gisborne defeated Palmerston North High School by three goals to two and in the other semi-final Auckland Grammar defeated Whangarei High School by two goals to one. The games were played in showery and cold weather and on slipppery surfaces.
