Australian Men “Incredibly Rude”
Australian men are “incredibly rude,” according to a New Zealand girl who returned to Wellington recently lrom a live-week visit to the Commonwealth. But the visitor —Miss Leigh MacPherson, a director of the New Zealand Institute of Public Opinion—had one compliment to pay them. She said that in their general alertness and acumen in business, they widely outrange New Zealanders. Miss MacPhcrson, who visited Australia to investigate market research methods there, said: “Our men are superficially polite. If you're a tool, they won’t tell you. But the Australian men can’t abide a fool or wasting time with polite chit-chat. They cut out the niceties and get straight down to business. They all seem capable of making quick decisions and implementing them immediately.”
