Giant British Army Freight Plane Tested

LONDON, June 23
A prototype "GAL 60" military freight transport, the largest aircraft of its type in Britain and second in size only to the Brabazon has successfully carried out its maiden flight, it was announced yesterday. The great plane has a wing-span of 162 ft. is 99ft. long and 33ft. high.
