<ll a.m.) NEW YORK, June 4. Prince Jay, a four-year-old, broke the world pacing record for nine furlongs when he won the 5000 dollars San Diego Pace at Santa Anita. Prince Jay’s time was 2min. 15.25ec., which broke the previous mark of 2min. 15.255ec. established in 1943 by Calumet Dubuque.
