AMNESTY FOR REBELS IN BURMA
RANGOON, May 9. A general amnesty covering all rebel forces in Burma was announced today by the Burmese Government. It will remain in operation until May 20, but it is liable to be revoked at any time and in any area at the Government's discretion.
