AUCKLAND EFFORTS
(P.A.) AUCKLAND. March 31. A committee of representatives of the Auckland. Waitemata and Franklin Power Boards met this morning under the chairmanship of Mr. ’J. W. Scholium, chairman of the Waitemata Board.
Formed yesterday, the committee's purpose is to try to form a common policy on matters affecting them ail and to embark on a joint publicity campaign.
The committee made arrangements this morning for radio broadcasts tonight and tomorrow, and will recommend regular broadcasts to the three boards. Newspaper advertising as well is also to be recommended. Members of the committee in the meantime will be in constant touch with each other.
