ALFA-MILKER FOR ONE TO 12 COWS
The one-unit milker placed on the market by the Alfa-Laval Separator Company, has been attracting attention in Gisborne It was publicly displayed for the first time in the Dominion at Gisborne’s Autumn Show. The unit has been well-tried elsewhere. and was unprocurable in New Zealand previously only because import licenses were unobtainable. The milker has a capacity to deal with from one to 12 cows, giving the person with a few house cows or a small farm an economical unit. It is equipped with two four-gallon containers and is powered by an electric motor. The compact unit has most of the features of the larger Alfa machines. It has an automatic vacuum control, a pneumatic pulsator and alternating pulsation.-—P.B.A.
