AUSTRALIA TO BUILD HAWKER JET FIGHTER
CANBERRA, March 30. ’ Australia will build early next year a prototype of the Hawker P jet fighter aircraft which has not yet been built for the Royal Air Force. This was announced by Sir Keith Park, South Pacific representative of the Hawker-Siddeley manufacturing group, who said that this Federal Government decision had placed the Royal Australian Air Force on a level with the R.A.F. and the air forces of Western ’>, .
