Indonesian Move To “Free Borneo”
XlO a.m.)- JACARTA, March 30. A proposal is to be made to the Indonesian Parliament on April 1 that a conference be arranged between Indonesia and the Philippine Governments to discuss ways of reaching a mutual understanding between the two countries in connection with “freeing the whole island of Borneo from imperialism.” The proposal will be made by Mohammed Yamin, an influential member of Parliament and historian.
