CHECK TO VANDALS
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, March 30. The Auckland City Council plans to follow Dunedin’s lead and appoint honorary rangers to help check vandalism. Rangers who are to be appointed soon will be a good cross-section of Auckland citizens. Names have been submitted by interested organisations. Although vandalism has not been heavy recently, the local authorities are not complacent for sometimes after a quiet spell a wave of offences afflicts the city.
