STORK SIGN FOR MIDWIVES
LONDON. After anxious fathers-to-be had frequently failed to pick out the home of two local midwives in an area of Battersea, London, a neighbour offered to paint a special sign. Now prospective fathers can snot “Stork Lodge” at a glance by the handsome figure of a bird hanging outside. The midwives’ neighbours can sleep more soundly too, for they are no longer knocked up by mistake in the early hours of the morning.
