(P.A.) GEEYMOUTH, Jan. 16. The Kumara Racing Club’s annual meeting was held at Greymouth on Saturday. Conditions were ideal. The totalisator, including investments on the doubles machine, handled £21,344 10s, compared with £18.468 last year. The totalisator double, Wee* Mac and Advent, returned £lB 3s for £l. Wee Alec, who finished second in the Borough Trot, was disqualified following a lengthy inquiry instigated by the stipendiary stewards. Wee Alec bored out with six furlongs to run, interfering with Tia Maria and Lady Glen. Alter hearing the evidence of the drivers concerned, Sun Chariot was placed second and Lady Glen third. J. A. Carmichael, driver of Wee Alec, was fined £lO.
