WAKATIPU STEAMER AS POLLING BOOTH
(P.A.) INVERCARGILL, Oct. 22. The Lake Wakatipu steamer will be the polling booth at the general election for residents on both sides of the lake above QuenstOA\m. This is an innovation in the Wallace electorate. There are about six calling places on the lake and the steamer will call at them all to enable residents to go aboard and cast their votes. Tourists in the travelling steamer will also be able to cast their votes.
