COMMUNIST SHOT FOR CHUNGKING ARSON
(11 a.m.) HONG KONG, Sept. 5. An official Central News dispatch from Chungking says that a Communist underground worker had been found among those responsible for a large fire which destroyed the city s principal business district on Friday night and Saturday. This man and one other were shot by the garrison yesterday. It is believed that many others share in tne responsibility for the fire and wide investigation ns under way.
