The Rcefton Jockey Club's spring meeting on Saturday was held in fine weather, but there was a poor crowd. The track was in good order. The totalisator handled £12,434 IDs, as against £13,743 on the corresponding day last year. There was an inquiry into the winner, Caronia, and Queen’s General stumbling two furlongs from tire finish in the Boatman's Hack Handicap. No action was taken.
