Soviet Land Reform In East Germany

BERLIN, Sept. 4
The official Soviet newspaper Taegliche Rundschau stated today that 7/134,000 acres have been redistributed to 1,000,000 people in four years under the land reform programme in the Soviet zone of Germany.
Estates of more than 247 acres were broken up and given to refugees and peasants in units of 20 acres or less.
