Cuban Political Leaders Shot Dead
HAVANA, Sept. 2. Senor Guillermo Salazar, Revolutionary Party leader, and Senor Francisco Cristobel were assassinated today. Their assailants , were believed to lie members of a rival political party. Senor Salazar and his sister Efigentia and Senor Cristobal were entering a motor-car when shots were fired from two other cars. Both men died instantly. Senorita Eligentia was seriously wounded. The assailants escaped after exchanging shots with the police.
