Syria’s Policy To Arab League States
„ DAMASCUS, Aug. 17. Ihe Foreign Minister of Syria, Nazim El Kodsy, said that the new regime would respect all international commitments made bv former regimes. The Government also intended to develop a new policy concerning interArab affairs.
We intend to have relations with ail the Arab Stales,” he said, “on an equal basis within the framework of the Arab League.” The statement indicates a radical change of policy from President Zaim's regime, when Syria was ranged against Iraq and Transjordan,
