MATAKAOA BASKETBALL
(Herald Correspondent.) In a basketball competition game which puts Hicks Bay a further' two points beyond the reach of other teams. High School B were defeated by 11 goals to six. R- Jensen. S. Tihore and M. Tihore showed out for the Bay. while Q. Ngatai, H. Teohaere and R. Brown worked hard for school. In a friendly game played between Tc Araroa Primary A and High School B the former won after a hard struggle by two to one. Miss S. Tihore reffereed.
